About this house rental
On the first floor of a stunning 18th-century villa lies Casa Ligea, a cozy and scenic apartment that has been recently and tastefully renovated and elegantly furnished. Its location right in the heart of Positano, just 30 steps from the street, makes a car unnecessary.
Completely independent, it guarantees absolute privacy for four people.
In addition to access from the street—which places it just five minutes from Positano’s chicest boutiques, most famous restaurants, and bars, and ten minutes from the main beach—the apartment offers another particularly useful advantage: a private internal staircase that leads directly to the sea in less than five minutes, passing through the garden below.
Casa Ligea features an entrance that opens directly into a spacious and bright living-dining room, furnished with period pieces, a sofa, and a dining table, with terracotta tile floors painted white and two large French doors opening onto a small terrace that runs the entire length of the apartment, offering a view of Positano’s enchanting nativity scene. Deck chairs and an outdoor coffee table make the terrace—with its incredible panoramic view—a truly enjoyable space, while the air conditioning and Smart TV with a free Netflix account ensure a pleasant stay indoors.
The kitchen, located in a small separate room, is well-appointed and functional, featuring a refrigerator, microwave, oven, and gas stove. A few steps lead up to the mezzanine level, where there are two bedrooms with double beds (which can be converted into two single beds if desired), each featuring the characteristic Positano barrel-vaulted ceiling and its own bathroom. Casa Ligea has its own Wi-Fi connection.

AMAZING location and incredible view from the private balcony!! Location is great for hanging out in the lower area of Positano including the beach. Same views as fancy hotel next door without the price tag! Rosella was an excellent host. Very responsive and helped arrange our tours and transfers all week! We were two couples and it was plenty of space. Lots of stairs but that’s Positano. Apartment had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
