About this house rental
**Not a pet-friendly property.**
The Cottage Inn is a perfect, cozy get-away for a small group or family. Located in the quiet, Tolovana end of Cannon Beach, this property is within easy beach access at the end of the street, and is a short walk to an outstanding bakery and quaint grocery market.
As you enter into the cottage, you step into an open kitchen and dining area. While the kitchen features a large island, roomy for seating and great for preparing meals, the dining area is warmed by a wood-burning fireplace with a brick hearth. This cozy setting is perfect for watching flickering flames during relaxed meals and table conversation. Flowing off the dining area, the living room provides comfortable seating with a partial ocean view, and a Full sized sofa sleeper.
From the kitchen hallway, the master bedroom has a Queen bed, while the second bedroom sports a pyramid bunk, the upper is a Twin and the lower a Full trundle. Adjoining is a full bathroom with shower and tub.
Be sure to enjoy the ocean view from the front deck, and take advantage of the large fenced yard, great for croquet or bocce ball.
Accommodates 6 maximum; no smoking; no pets; parking for 2 vehicles.
3 night minimum stay, except during the summer months.
7 night minimum stay for the summer months.
Deck Furniture and BBQ's are available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

We enjoyed our stay at this sweet cottage. The location was wonderful and an easy walk to the spectacular beach where we had our first evening fire on the beach. I will never forget those smores! There were bunnies everywhere and two elk in the neighbor's yard--awesome! The cottage was quiet, clean, and cozy, but a bit dated. After being in the area for a few days, I believe the entire area has this very laid-back, easy, retro, coastal vibe. Coming from Philly, it took us a bit to slow down and enjoy, but I am so glad we did. It was just what we needed. We had some trouble getting locked out with the key-pad; however, after a few calls we got everything worked out. The hosts were friendly and ready to help. We travel a lot and from experience would not say this was a plushie stay; however, it was a sweet stay if you are able to flow with the locals. For those with mobility issues: My husband uses a cane but was able to walk the distance from the cottage to the beach and manage the few stairs to get to the beach. There is a bit of an incline on the road. The beach sand is mostly hard, unlike Florida beaches, so he was able to walk a bit down the beach as well.

What a beautiful spot! The location was perfect. A short walk to the beach, and views of haystack rock. I’m sure the bunnies are a nuisance, but we enjoyed watching them chase each other around. We will definitely be back.

The house was very nice, comfortable. I was very disappointed that all the cupboards were bare - not even a salt or pepper shaker. I did't expect a lot but most rentals I have used, supply some basics for cooking. There were no "amenities"
