About this lodge
Located on a private working ranch, deep in rolling hills, lakes and pine forests of East Texas, we offer you your own spacious roomy lodge to enjoy. Make a cup of coffee and sit in the screened covered porch or on the dock or work on your computer with our wireless WiFi and watch the wildlife and livestock all around you or just gaze at the lake. At night watch Netflix on the flatscreen TV in the living room We are not set up for parties or events but offer a place to unplug from the city, to enjoy the peace and relaxation that comes from a true county place. Lodging price includes bank and dock fishing and a short farm tour where kids ( and adults) can see cattle, sheep and pigs and can pet a pig or hold a lamb in season! If you would like to lease the whole lake with two boats it is $60.00/ day /boat- you can decide when you come!. We are a catch and release anything over 15 inches - under, take it home and fry it!! Many of our guests have returned each year! Bring pets, but do check our charge for them. As we are working ranchers' we go to bed early 9:30-10 PM so please get pre-approval earlier or be patient and wait til morning!! We hope to meet you soon! Se habla Espanol Patti and Isauro

Fishing was great and cabin had everything we needed. Dog loved the large fenced yard and enjoyed meeting the cows. Hosts were very welcoming and attentive. Great location to enjoy the woods and relax.

What a cool place to get away from “real life” and just kick back, relax, and breathe deeply. Everywhere you look there is something different. A lake, cows, sheep, rabbits, pigs etc. We did not take a formal tour this time, but will next time. The hosts are so available, and so open and friendly. Top notch service.

Excellent hostess for a 2 week layover. Quiet peaceful interum, as my house was rebuilt.
