VIEWS, VIEWS, VIEWS!!! If you are looking for a beautifully decorated mountain cabin with stunning views and serenity, then Secluded Summit is the one for you. The cabin is situated on 3.5 acres of mountain top and has fantastic 180-degree views of Cove and Roundtop Mountains, all from the privacy of your front deck. The deck is very large and partly covered. It has a large outdoor dining table and chairs, a porch swing, four oversized rocking chairs, a hot tub, and fire pit (propane not supplied). As well, there is another covered outdoor back porch with two rockers, an outdoor swing, and a charcoal grill. Secluded Summit is a one level true log home and has recently been totally renovated inside and out. It has a modernized fully equipped kitchen which boasts all new stainless-steel appliances and granite counter tops. There are two very large bedrooms with king size beds and attached baths. The living room has new leather recliners, queen leather sleeper sofa, and a large chair and ottoman. It also has a 50” television, DVD player, Wi-Fi, and AT&T television. And in addition, there is a game console which has 64 games.
Would you like to go fishing while you are in town or go swimming? Secluded Summit has access to Honeysuckle Meadows seasonal outdoor swimming pool, deli, and year round outdoor fishing access. The pool is located about 4 and a half miles from the cabin. Secluded Summit has an ideal location and is only 7.5 miles to the Pigeon Forge parkway and 8 miles to Townsend. The back entrance to the GSMNP at Metcalf Bottoms is only 4 miles and there is easy access to Cade’s Cove, Gatlinburg, and hiking trails. Secluded Summit is secluded with one of the best views in the Smokies. Also enjoy the outdoor kitchen for those grilling nights enjoying those views. Outdoor surveillance device for security purpose. Parking for up to 2 vehicles. No smoking. Pet friendly. Dogs are welcome but must be under 35 lbs and additional fees apply and must follow Fireside Chalets pet policies. Sleeps 6.

It was a nice stay. It was perfect for our little family. The drive is a bit steep and narrow. If it's wet, say a prayer. The place was clean and comfortable. I wish they had some shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and bathroom soap though. And maybe like 1 or 2 coffee packets. We got there at night and I had to go early to the store the next morning. But it's just right down the hill, so it's fine. There's really no area for small children to play outside so if you have littles I wouldn't recommend it. It was so peaceful and quiet at night though. One bad thing, in the master bedroom, apparently one of the neighbors has a spotlight that changes colors and constantly sweeps through your room. But other than that, it was great. It's close to some great food truck park. Try the Thia place. It's legit. There's a great swimming area on the way to Cades cove that was awesome.

Our stay at Secluded Summit could not have been any better. The views from the deck were spectacular! The cabin was in a perfect location between Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Townsend. We loved the peace and quiet of the cabin after a busy day. We also saw a black bear and her small cub at the end of the driveway. Overall a great vacation experience!

I would love to give this cabin a higher rating. The space is wonderful, the porches and views are absolutely amazing. There is plenty of room to spread out. However, the kitchen equipment (appliances/utensils/silverware/cookware) significantly lacked in quality. The sofas and pillows were worn flat and there were missing/broken elements of the games. The top bedding could probably use an update as well.Overall a beautiful location to take in the views and relax. With a few updates, could be a 5-star for sure!
