What a gem of a stay! Looking for a week’s escape from the California Desert heat in July, this property was just what we hoped for. The outdoor living space, completely shielded from the sun was perfect for our needs. The bedroom albeit small was comfortable with a great bed. The en-suite bathroom had a hidden spot behind the door with a small refrigerator, microwave and K-cup coffeemaker, making it able for us to have a good start to the day without having to look for a breakfast restaurant. The location in Point Loma very near the Liberty Public Market had wonderful restaurants, a Trader Joe’s and a Vons, and a fun vibe. The Market had excellent local vendors with terrific food. Even museums & theatre. A short 15 minute ride to Balboa Park had the famous San Diego Zoo, Botanical House, Crafts Center and wide open spaces to relax.Although the property is under the takeoff flight path from San Diego airport, it was something to get used to, but more than worth the offset of a great property and host.

This cottage/casita was in a great neighborhood and close to all San Diego attractions. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a 2-night stay. Street parking was plentiful and no complaints whatsoever. Would recommend any solo traveler or couple stay here.
