About this apartment rental
This suite is fully contained. All you have to do is arrive and enjoy. The historic Phelps Mansion is full of historic character from the original kitchen cabinets to the hardwood floors throughout the unit. There have been many updates through the rehab process and offers many modern amenities. This unit is a two bedroom with new Amish beds and very comfortable Queen mattresses. Located in the living room are two couches. One is an exceptionally comfortable Queen pull-out sleeper, the additional couch can be used to sleep the 7th guest. The kitchen is stocked with all kitchen wares; dishware, silverware, plates, bowls, pots, pans, bakeware, coffee pot, toaster, and microwave. (Serving for 6) Full size refrigerator and gas stove. Free Wi-Fi & cable. Large flat screen TV. Parking available.

Older home in a nice, quiet neighborhood with about a six-block walk to the downtown shopping/restaurant area. There are several other units in the house, but I never heard any noise. There are three steps to get up to the front door so be aware if you have problems with those. There is off street parking next to the house but street parking in front of the house was no problem. I would stay here again!

Clean, comfortable and colorful decor, convient location, very easy to ck in and ck out. The owners have taken care to present a lovely and welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend this house and owners highly to anyone wanting to explore Decorah Iowa.

We enjoyed our time here! It was very well maintained, was clean, and had great spaces for eating, cooking, and relaxing. It was an overall great experience! We also appreciated being walking distance from downtown.
