About this house rental

Come enjoy an amazing stay at our little homestead. The house is tucked up close to the woods, which provides lots of privacy. We are 13 miles from Old Mans cave, and 7 miles from Rock House. We have WIFI, it may be slow at times. We have an Amazon Fire TV, able to stream sports and tv shows with your own subscriptions. We are 2.5 miles from the little town of Tarlton which has an IGA convenient store with gas, dollar general, and a few restaurants. Laurelville, Ohio is 5.5 miles and they have handful of restaurants, gas, and in the fall the famous Apple House (apple cider slushies is where its at).

The home is lovely, clean, and comfortable, met our needs for a getaway weekend with our adult kids. It's in a remote, rural area, so be prepared to drive a bit to the Hocking Hills attractions. But we loved it. We hiked at the state park, went for ice cream in Circleville, went to the Hocking Hills Market, ate at the Lodge at Hocking Hills and enjoyed cooking our own family meals at the house. Very nice weekend of relaxation.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is clean and well stocked. The fire pit was nice to spend time around. The area is beautiful and very peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

Loved the quiet location, conveniently located. Property was well equipped. Could use a good cleaning on the carpet and the drapes didn’t quite cover the windows but otherwise we had a great stay and would recommend this location if you’re looking for peace and quiet.
