About this house rental

This romantic vacation home is nestled in the heart of a tropical garden with a view of the sea. The house is well-furnished and features an open-concept sleeping area, a walk-in closet, and a large, fully equipped kitchen with an oven and dishwasher. It also has satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning that doubles as heating in the winter. The house has its own terrace; in the garden, lounge chairs invite you to relax, and the view stretches out over the ocean and the island of La Gomera. Guests are welcome to use the garden and the pool, which is heated. A barbecue area is available. Enjoy absolute tranquility surrounded by nature, yet only a 3-minute drive from the nearest supermarket. It’s just a 15-minute drive to the sea or a 20-minute drive to the mountains. The house is single-story and wheelchair-accessible, with no steps and a wheelchair-accessible shower. The property’s own chickens provide fresh eggs for breakfast, and fruit can be picked straight from the tree. Your host speaks German. An ideal spot for nature lovers, hikers, and anyone seeking peace and quiet away from the tourist crowds. The garden, pool, barbecue area, and lounge chairs are available for your use. Massages and spa treatments can be booked. This is how you’ll get to know Tenerife in its most authentic form. We look forward to your visit.

Beaches: Playa del Duque, an artificial beach with light-colored sand, entices visitors with palm trees and bamboo umbrellas, a beautiful promenade, two cafes, and an exclusive restaurant. Playa del Camison and Playa de Fanabe also feature light-colored sandy beaches. The wide bays of Playa de Troya and Playa de Bobo, with their traditional light-gray sand, are protected from the strong currents of the sea by large breakwaters. Small coves can be found along the coast. El Portito is a small fishing village with just a few houses, situated in a beautiful cove. One of the island’s most beautiful natural beaches is accessible only on foot from El Portito—about a 20-minute walk. Various beaches are within a 15- to 30-minute walk from the accommodation.

Teide: In the Parque Nacional de las Cañadas del Teide, which was designated a national park as early as 1954, lies a massive volcanic crater with a circumference of 48 km, from which Mount Teide rises to a dizzying height of 3,718 m, making it the highest mountain in all of Spain. The park itself lies about 2,000 m above sea level, and in winter there is snow here, a stiff breeze, and the access roads are sometimes even closed. During the summer months, when temperatures reach over 40 °C, the barren, arid landscape gives you the impression that you’ve just stepped right into the middle of a "Western." You can reach the long-extinct volcano either on foot or via a aerial cableway that takes you almost to the summit. On a clear day, standing at the very top, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of Gran Canaria, La Palma, La Gomera, and El Hierro—30 minutes away

Masca: Masca, located at the northwestern tip of Tenerife and nestled in the Teno Mountains, is one of the most picturesque areas on the island. Deep gorges alternating with lush green vegetation line the winding paths. The road from Buenavista del Norte leads through many tight hairpin turns to the village of Masca. This village, which was virtually unknown until recently, has quickly become a must-see for all visitors exploring the island. The village’s spectacular setting, with its houses perched precariously on the narrow ridges of impressive rock formations, leaves a magical impression on visitors. Masca Bay, known as a former pirate hideout, is a three-hour hike from the village through breathtaking scenery. Return trips from the bay can be booked by boat to Los Gigantes. Masca is about a 30-minute drive from the accommodation.

Only a word to describe Daniela's house: PARADISE. We had 5 perfect days in this wonderful house. All was perfect and Daniela very kind with us. The house is placed in a very quite place and it is more beautiful than the pictures. The tropical garden around the house it's really unbelievable. If we will visit again Tenerife, for sure we will contact Daniela!

We had a great week in Casa Anakena. Daniela was very welcoming and friendly. The house is in a very quiet area, no sound at all at night apart from the next door's sheep and a cockrel every now and then! The garden and pool are beautiful and well maintained every day. The house is very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need and there is ample outside seating and furniture. Breakfast on the patio in the sunshine was the highlight of my day. The nearest beach - Playa San Juan is around 20 minutes drive away, and Los Gigantes about 30 minutes away. Roads are quite steep and windy - and the property is accessed by a very steep driveway - our tiny Fiat 500 struggled a little! The garden is shared with another rental apartment and the owners, but the patio and table area is yours alone and really is very private. We hardly saw anyone during our week there. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the design and layout of the house. It is very spacious and there is a large yard with a view down to the ocean. Everything was perfect, except there was a problem with ants in the house. Our luggage was invaded and the bed as well, most likely because of sweet smells. Otherwise, recommended and a beautiful place near many great locations.
