About this docked boat rental

The ship, the Wilhelm von Nassau, operated as a passenger vessel on the Lahn River in Weilburg until 2016, when it was lovingly converted into a floating vacation home. Until 2019, the ship was moored permanently in Weilburg and was then moved to its new permanent mooring in Bad Ems. It is now located across from the Emser Therme, parallel to Wilhelmsallee. Free parking is available about 10 meters from the ship. Our season runs from April through mid-October. Unfortunately, we cannot offer winter rentals.
The ship features a kitchen-living room with a cozy sitting area and a large dining table, satellite TV, and Wi-Fi. There are two bedrooms: one with a double box-spring bed and one with two single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, toaster, and coffee maker.
The toilet and shower are separate, located in two different rooms.
Furthermore, the ship has an outdoor seating area from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Lahn Valley and Bad Ems itself. When the weather is nice, this outdoor seating area invites you to enjoy the views with a glass of wine and unwind.

Please note that Bad Ems is a spa town and a visitor’s tax is charged, which must be paid in cash on site. The visitor’s tax is €1.92 per day for the first person and €1.66 per day for each additional person. This does not apply to children under the age of 14.
Important Notice!!!
Prolonged rainfall may cause the water level to rise (flooding). To ensure the safety of our guests, the boat will then be moved 300 meters to a flood-safe mooring. Very quiet location; parking is available right next to the boat, and it’s also a 10-minute walk to town.
