A Comfortable Stay for Up to 5 Guests!



Gulf Sunshine is thoughtfully arranged to accommodate up to five guests in a cozy, well-

designed space. Your sleeping arrangements include:

 Master bedroom: A comfortable queen-size bed.

 Living room: A queen-size sleeper sofa.

 Hallway alcove: A twin daybed with a brand-new mattress and memory foam topper,

tucked into its own cozy nook.



Enjoy Roku TV and streaming favorites like Netflix on the Smart TVs located in both the living

room and bedroom. Just bring your login information to use your favorite subscription services!



The newly renovated bathroom features a new vanity, custom shiplap woodwork, updated

lighting, and coastal-inspired decor. The full tub-and-shower combination is especially

convenient for families traveling with little ones. We've taken care of the details so you don't

have to: all beds are made prior to your arrival with quality linens, and full towel sets are

provided for all five guests so you can pack light and start relaxing right away.



A Kitchen Designed for Easy Vacation Meals



Eating out is part of the fun in Galveston, but sometimes it’s nice to stay in and enjoy a relaxed

family meal. Our renovated kitchen features:

 A full-size refrigerator and freezer.

 A new dishwasher.

 A microwave, countertop oven and electric cooktop.

 Kitchen essentials for preparing simple meals and snacks.

Warm up leftovers from one of Galveston’s many wonderful restaurants, prepare breakfast

before heading to the beach, or make popcorn for a movie night.



To help you get settled, we provide a small starter supply of household and bathroom

essentials—including paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing supplies, trash bags, coffee, soap,

shampoo, and conditioner. These supplies will get you started, and you can easily stock up on

anything else you need at nearby stores.



Balcony Views, Beach Days & Poolside Fun!



One of the best features of Gulf Sunshine is its location! The balcony overlooks the pool and the

beach, making it easy to enjoy the sand, surf, and spectacular Gulf views.

The balcony features bar-height furniture, giving you a wonderful vantage point to watch the

waves and enjoy the sunshine. Relax with your morning coffee, enjoy an afternoon breeze, or

wind down in the evening while taking in the coastal scenery.



The Victorian condominium complex offers many shared amenities, including:

 Two swimming pools, with one heated seasonally.

 Two hot tubs.

 Fitness center.

 Tennis court.

 Outdoor picnic and barbecue areas, including BBQ pergolas.

 A fish-cleaning station.

 Multiple outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the coastal atmosphere.



A Convenient Location on Galveston's Seawall!



You’ll love having so much close by! The condo sits right on Seawall Boulevard, directly across

from Babe’s Beach. Convenient crosswalks at both ends ensure safe, easy access to the beach or

to walk along the seawall. A large big-box retailer is right next door, and nearby restaurants offer

plenty of great options for sandwiches, barbecue, and other casual meals.



Whether you're here for beach time, local attractions, shopping, dining, or simply relaxing by the

water, Gulf Sunshine makes a convenient home base for your Galveston getaway.



Planning Your Arrival

Booking, Check-In, Communication



We want your arrival to be smooth and stress-free. After your reservation is confirmed, you will

receive a link to complete our rental agreement. In addition to the information collected by your

booking platform, we request:

 Your personal email address.

 The names and ages of everyone staying in the condo.

 Driver’s license information.

 An emergency contact.



Please complete the agreement promptly so we can send your arrival instructions on time.

Approximately 3–5 days before arrival, we will email driving directions and check-in

instructions directly to the guest who made the reservation. A follow-up phone call comes 24–48

hours later to confirm that you received everything, verify the access code, and answer any last-

minute questions to ensure you have what you need for a smooth check-in.

We are available if questions come up or you need assistance during your stay. We’re happy to

help!



Laundry & Beach Towels



There are several pay-per-use laundry facilities located throughout The Victorian that accept

credit and debit cards. Please note that there is no washer or dryer inside the condo. Beach

towels are not provided, but customized beach towels are available to rent for $35 for the

duration of your stay. Please bring your own beach towels or let us know if you would like to

rent ours.



Helpful Guidelines & Property Policies

Housekeeping Notes

We want you to spend your time enjoying Galveston, not worrying about a long checkout

cleaning list! Although a broom, dustpan, mop, and bucket are available, we do not expect you to

clean the condo before leaving or strip the beds. We simply ask that you:

 Remove all food and garbage from the condo and refrigerator.

 Leave the space reasonably tidy.

 Lock the door behind you when you leave.

 Share any favorite restaurants, shops, attractions, or excursions you discovered in our

guest book so future guests can enjoy them, too!

If you've spent time at the beach, please use the outdoor showers near the pool when convenient

and shake sand from your towels before bringing them inside. If sand makes its way into the

condo, a quick sweep is appreciated, as sand can make floors slippery and we want everyone to

stay safe.



Help Our Air Conditioning & Heating Work Their Best

To keep the HVAC system operating efficiently and comfortably throughout your stay, our

HVAC professionals recommend the following:

 Adjust the thermostat by no more than 3 degrees per hour.

 During summer, do not set the air conditioning below 70°F.

 During winter, do not set the heat above 74°F.

 Keep the fan setting on AUTO.

 Turn off the HVAC system when doors or windows are open.

 Maintain no more than a 20-degree difference between outdoor and indoor temperatures.

A Little About Coastal Weather



Galveston is a beautiful barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico, and coastal weather is part of island

life. Rainstorms, thunderstorms, tropical weather, and occasional hurricanes can affect the area.

Severe weather can sometimes cause temporary power or Wi-Fi outages. We strongly encourage

guests to consider trip cancellation and interruption protection through their booking platform or

another provider. If a government official issues a mandatory evacuation of the island, My Galveston Getaway

issues refunds in accordance with its stated evacuation policy. We cannot control weather,

temperatures, sunshine, or mosquitoes, and refunds for other weather-related circumstances are

not provided except as specified by the applicable policy. We appreciate your understanding and

encourage you to plan accordingly.



Parking, Resort & Amenity Fees



Like many condominium complexes and hotels in Galveston, The Victorian charges a separate

parking, resort, and amenity fee. This fee is collected directly by the condominium complex at

check-in, not by the condo owner or My Galveston Getaway. The current fee schedule is:

 Stays of 1–7 consecutive nights: $40 plus applicable tax.

 Stays of 8–31 days: $80 plus applicable tax.

 Extended stays: $80 plus applicable tax per month.

The fee includes up to two parking permits. Payment is made directly to The Victorian upon

arrival; we cannot collect or prepay this fee on your behalf. At check-in, the complex will

provide your parking permit and applicable access information, which may include wristbands,

vehicle and pedestrian gate codes, pool and amenity access codes, and the complex-wide Wi-Fi

password.



Pets, Smoking & Property Rules

To help keep Gulf Sunshine comfortable for everyone, please be aware of these property

policies:

 Pets: The Victorian does not permit renters to bring pets. If you're traveling with a dog or

another pet, please explore other My Galveston Getaway properties that welcome dogs.

Qualifying service animals are an exception, although the complex may request

appropriate verification. Emotional support animals are not treated as service animals for

short-term vacation rentals under the property's stated policy.

 Smoking and vaping: All properties managed by My Galveston Getaway are 100%

smoke-free and vape-free.

 Occupancy: Everyone counts toward the occupancy limit, regardless of age or sleeping

arrangements. The maximum occupancy for Gulf Sunshine is five people, including

infants and children.



 Elevators: The Victorian's elevators operate in a coastal environment where humidity,

moisture, and salt air can contribute to occasional malfunctions. For everyone's safety,

please avoid playing in elevators, pressing unnecessary buttons, or holding elevator doors

open.
