Bedrock Bungalow is a cozy home perched on a hilltop and surrounded by boulders, on five private acres in a quiet, secluded spot in Yucca Valley. Large windows throughout bring in natural light and views over the town below. Outside, the private backyard has an in-ground pool and a hot tub, and a stargazing dome at the top of the hill offers 360-degree mountain views. Two bedrooms, each with a king bed, and two bathrooms suit couples or a small group who want privacy, views and dark skies. Save some energy for the climb to the dome after dinner.

The private backyard has an in-ground pool with loungers and a hot tub that is kept heated, with boulders all around. Warm up by the fire pit with friends, or cook dinner on the outdoor BBQ. At the top of the hill, the private stargazing dome has 360-degree mountain views and is the best seat on the property after dark.

Large windows throughout let in plenty of natural light and frame views over the town below. Split-system heating and cooling keeps the home comfortable year-round.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The fully equipped kitchen has what you need to cook breakfast or dinner in, and the outdoor BBQ is ready for a meal in the backyard.

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.

Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



Please do not follow navigation for the final turns. When going down Grand Ave, do not turn right on Nelson; keep going straight. Then turn right on Tish Trail until you reach Nelson, and turn right on Nelson to Bedrock Bungalow. The last listing photo also shows the route to the house.



Other Things to Note:

-Property Access-

Access to the property is only permitted with a confirmed booking. Exterior cameras monitor activity, and visitors without a booking will be asked to leave.



-House-Specific Rules-

► Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it has been serviced, as chemical levels are higher than usual for a short time. Please rinse off oils and lotions before entering, keep the cover on when not in use, and no drinking in the hot tub, please.



-Pool Heating-

Pool heating is not available at Bedrock Bungalow. The hot tub is always kept heated, at no charge.



-Pool and Hot Tub Service-

The pool and hot tub are serviced Mondays and Thursdays, approximately between 9am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.



-Pet Policy-

We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed due to the owner's severe allergy.

-Wildlife & Safety-

The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it's important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.



-Security Camera-

For your security, there are exterior cameras on the property, which monitor vehicles and occupancy. There are no cameras inside the home or facing any private areas, including the pool and hot tub areas.



-Cell Service-

Cell phone coverage in the area may be limited or unavailable depending on your carrier. Wi-Fi is available at the property.



-Damage Waiver Policy-

Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
