About this house rental
Welcome to La P’tite Bergerie, a 3-star-rated townhouse attached to our home—a former 17th-century farmhouse in the heart of the Périgord Noir, near Sarlat and some of the most beautiful sites to visit. We’d be delighted to help you explore our beautiful region.
On the first floor, “La P’tite Bergerie” features a lovely, bright 30 m² living area with an open kitchen and a sofa, as well as a bathroom and a separate toilet. Upstairs, there is a 20 m² bedroom with a 160 cm bed and plenty of storage space. A hammock is available for relaxing or reading.
It’s important to note that the interior of the house is an open space with no partitions—except for the bathroom—to maintain this loft-style feel.
You’ll also have a lovely terrace with patio furniture and a barbecue. A private garden is perfect for enjoying pleasant moments of rest and leisure.
Upon arrival, you will be asked to provide two checks (or cash): one for 300 euros as a security deposit and one for 60 euros for cleaning (neither will be cashed). Both will be returned to you within a maximum of fifteen days after your departure, provided we find no damage.
Linens are available for rent (20 € per person).
It includes:
- 2 bath towels (70x140)
- 2 hand towels (50x100)
- 1 bath mat
- 2 washcloths
- 2 dish towels and 1 apron
- 1 bedding set for 2 people
Please note that the linens are laundered using an eco-friendly water-based system.
Cleaning is your responsibility (to be done by you). We can offer you a flat rate of €60 for cleaning the entire cottage.

We hadca wonderful stay! The accomodation was spotless, very well equipped and the host very welcoming. There is a lovely, private outside area too. The location was excellent to enjoy the beautiful scenerey and the many chateaux and caves. Would highly recommend staying here.

Our week spent at La p'tite bergerie was superb. The host was so welcoming and helpful, yet discreet. The property itself was excellent - perfect location, tastefully decorated, well-equipped and very clean. It was also ideally situated for exploring the many sights of interest in the Perigord Noir and its surrounding areas. We would certainly recommend La p'tite bergerie.
