About this cottage rental
Carraigeen Cottage is a new 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage right on the shores of beautiful Kangaroo Lake. It has a fully equipped modern kitchen with granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, including a full sized dishwasher, full stove, large refrigerator, and new washer / dryer. It has 4 queen pillow top beds perfect for 1-2 families or a group of friends. Outside there is a BBQ and picnic style tables. There are several chairs. We have a spot for a boat at the dock. You are welcome to bring your own boat. You can launch it at the Baileys Harbor boat launch on Kangaroo Lake Road. There is a $10 launch fee and it is on the honor system. The collection box is at the launch. Children will love paddling and swimming in the warm waters of Kangaroo Lake. This is a great location for fishing, biking, hiking and canoeing and close to all the downtown amenities of Baileys Harbor and Egg Harbor – Shops, restaurants, galleries, cafes and the marina and beach are only a few minutes away. Get ready for some gorgeous sunsets! Carraigeen is all of the above, and more, but I would just like to make sure that you are aware that the cottage is 700sq foot. It does have a capacity for 8 people but it would not be suitable for 8 adults. **Pets are NOT permitted at Carraigeen Cottage**

We had a wonderful time during our girls’ weekend. Martina was an excellent host. The cottage was exactly what we needed—cozy, as Martina had mentioned, and spotlessly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the lake! !

Great location, yard space, and lake frontage! Perfect for young kids since the water is so shallow for a few yards out. It is a little tight inside the cottage but overall I’d recommend the property!

This was the perfect place for our family of 5! It’s beautiful and clean on the inside, and it doesn’t get better than being right on kangaroo lake with access to swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding! It was quiet but, a great location and easy to access. I’ve stayed in several places in door county and this was definitely my favorite! The hosts are gracious and kind, I would definitely recommend it, and hope to come back soon!

We loved that the cabin was right on the water. The paddle board and kayaks were a huge hit as was the nearness of the causeway for fishing. Very peaceful and relaxing. The host was easily accessible and very kind and informative.
