Weather you are looking for a peaceful retreat, a home away from home or an easy to access hub for a variety of activities you will find what you need in this rental. The kitchen is very well stocked, with all the linens and simple spices you will need. There is plenty of seating offered indoor and out. If you like to relax with a movie, there are a plethora of choices offered from children's to romantic comedies to mysteries. New and old favorites to enjoy at the end of a busy day. Front porch rockers, classic Adirondack chair and matching swing, picnic table all offer space to take in the breathtaking views, read a book, have rich conversations or take a summer snooze. We enjoyed watching the wild turkeys, deer and cows enjoying the outdoors and the nourishment it offered. The star gazing at night offered a show my husband and I rarely see. The Big Dipper shone so brightly overhead. There are several restaurants nearby and plenty of trails to walk or ATV. We loved the hills and valleys we drove through as we traveled through the Black Hills and to nearby sites. The hosts were always ready to help in any way. The home was immaculate and again lacking nothing. My husband and I stayed for a week and would return in a heartbeat if we are in the area again. The pictures absolutely do not give it justice!

This place was outstanding! The hosts were incredibly friendly & helpful, the home had anything you could need, and the location was perfect for us! Definitely a 'home away from home' kind of property. Highly recommend!

This was a great place for our family to stay for our vacation. Our toddler enjoyed watching the daily visit from the wild turkey and mooing to the cows in the pasture. The scenery is great. We were able to drive to many different locations in the area and explore. The kitchen was well equipped and had the basics for what I needed to cook for us. There were some basic pantry items available too (I.e salt, pepper, garlic powder, olive oil) which was nice. There’s a gas station close by that has basic essentials if you forgot something. Make sure to stop in Sturgis or Rapid City for your main groceries and supplies. It is a 35 minute drive one way to the nearest grocery store. The Sugarshack and Brandin Iron are restaurants close by that have good food is that’s more your style. There’s a lake just a short drive north of the property that you can fish at.
