Arrive—be warmly welcomed—feel at home—relax—unwind—in the beautiful Berchtesgadener Land region and at the Watzmannbick Guesthouse in Bischofswiesen, in the Strub district. In the heart of the Berchtesgaden Valley, a legendary mountain panorama and warm hospitality await you. You’ll love our cozy and comfortable vacation apartments, which were tastefully designed in the Bavarian style with great care by a local master carpenter and individually furnished. An LCD TV/DVD combo, stereo system, programmable safe, and detailed information folder will all contribute to your relaxing vacation. We offer our guests a central yet quiet location within the Berchtesgaden–Bad Reichenhall–Salzburg vacation triangle.
Our WatzmannKind 5 vacation apartment, at approximately 70 square meters, accommodates 2–3 people and is located on the first floor of our house.
You’ll feel right at home in the two separate bedrooms, the two newly renovated bathrooms, the kitchen-living room with handcrafted furniture, and on the balconies and terrace.
The vacation rental consists of:
2 separate bedrooms (each with 1 additional safe)
2 bathrooms (with shower, toilet, hair dryer, makeup mirror, soap)
a beautiful, handcrafted kitchen-living room, equipped with high-quality appliances such as an oven, glass-ceramic cooktop, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and small, practical kitchen gadgets such as a knife block, hand mixer, egg cooker, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, etc.
3 Panasonic cable TVs,
two beautiful balconies (a southeast-facing balcony and a southwest-facing balcony with a magnificent view of the Watzmann and Hochkalter),
and a large terrace with a magnificent view of the Kehlstein, Hoher Göll, Hohes Brett, and Jenner).
The kitchen, living room, and bedroom furniture was specially designed and crafted for our home by our master carpenter.
The beds are freshly made, towels and dish towels are provided, and for the first few days of your vacation, you’ll find a small starter kit with toilet paper, coffee filters, trash bags, and dish soap in your apartment.

Popular attractions such as Königssee, the Kehlsteinhaus, the Obersalzberg, the hiking paradise on the Jenner, our historic market in Berchtesgaden, the Berchtesgaden Salt Mine, the national park with its numerous free guided tours, the Aschauerweiher natural swimming area, and much more are just a few minutes’ drive away. Less than a 5-minute walk away is the DAV Berchtesgaden section’s climbing gym, featuring a great atmosphere and a variety of climbing options. Various shopping options are easily accessible within a 5-minute drive and offer ample parking.
