About this house rental
This cozy retreat is perched on the rim of the Royal Gorge, overlooking America's highest suspension bridge. Watch the sunset over the Sangre de Cristo mountains from this 1,500 square foot house positioned high above the Arkansas River.
Your group or family can spread out in the three bedrooms, two baths, and enjoy the large fireplace, panoramic views, open dining area, and secluded outdoor patio. A full kitchen is at your disposal with included spices, coffee, tea and sugar. A propane BBQ grill is available right outside the kitchen door.
Guest access
The lodge is located outside of the Bridge attraction so guests are free to come and go as they please.
Check-in is inside the Visitor Center.
Guests receive free admission to the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park during their stay.
After hours check-in is at the Ranger post at the North end of the Visitor Center.
Extensive hiking and biking trails are a short walk from the house. There is ample parking.
Dogs are welcome. Pet fee applies if you have more than 2.
Do not leave dogs unattended inside or outside the house. Be aware that the area has cactus!
Please pick up and dispose of waste.
Wifi is available, however this is a remote location and some US carriers do not have sufficient coverage is this area. AT&T and Verizon work best here. Other carriers, specifically T-Mobile, do not.

The best part of this home was the magnificent views!!! Soo awesome to see the royal gorge from the window!! It was also great to have admission to the gorge covered each day we were there!! The piece that was hard for us was the airflow. It is an old AC unit so it flows well in the main area but the rooms were hot and stuffy even though they had fans. The fan was very loud at night sleeping. Also cooking on the stove, one burner was broke and the other took forever to cook and heat up. There were some bugs in the place and spiders we caught. Also be careful going out when it gets dark as the park ranger said there is a mama bear with her cub in the area as well as bobcat and mountain lion and other things to be aware of

1st time we've booked this cabin was 14 yrs ago. We've stayed multiple times and had invited friends and family through the years. Grand View of Gorge all around. Always clean all throughout. We always enjoy walking to the Rim Trail and taking sunset pictures. If you are planning to visit Royal Gorge, stay a day or two or more in this cabin, your trip will be 10x memorable. They offer free tickets to the bridge the day of check in until the day of checkout so it is really a great deal esp if you're planning to do all the activities around the area.

The entire property was great! Kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked, and pictures do not do it justice when you look out the windows and see the magnificent beauty of God’s creation. WOW!Gail was AMAZING, very quick to respond to any questions that I had and just as pleasurable to meet in person.We would recommend this lodge 100 x over!!!
