About this house rental
The Majestic Pines Mountain House (EP 3064) is a beautiful and comfortable 3,644 sq ft house in a forest setting with a tall vaulted ceiling and large windows.
➡Enjoy stunning views of Twin Sisters and Longs Peak.
➡Relax in the private hot tub after a day of sightseeing or hiking.
➡Ride the mountain coaster with unlimited ride passes (see below).
➡Easily drive to RMNP (Only 6 miles).
➡Play arcade games, air hockey, foosball, Nintendo Switch games.
➡Sleep on king beds.
➡Park in the heated garage.
➡Enjoy the cozy fireplace at night and watch movies and shows on Netflix/Disney+/HBO Max
The house has four unlimited ride passes to the Mustang Mountain Coaster that you are welcome to use during your stay. Zip through the forest at nearly 30 mph or take it slow and enjoy the scenery down 3,000 ft of track. You can ride the coaster alone or with a passenger. The coaster is located at 1180 Dry Gulch Rd in Estes Park, which is a 5.5 mile drive (approximately 10 minutes) from the house. Please call or visit their website for days and hours of operation. (Some days they are closed.) Please note, there is a $250 replacement fee for each pass that is missing from the house upon check-out.
Due to my house cleaner's schedule, I am unable to make arrangements for an early check in or a late check out. On the day of check in, I will send you a message as soon as the house is ready to go. (The house is typically ready to go between 3pm and 4pm.)
My insurance company does not allow for any open flames or outdoor smoking at the house due to fire risk.
The house is connected to the town's Trailblazer fiber optic gigabit internet service. The hot tub is available year round but cannot be used during high winds.
During the autumn, winter, and spring, I strongly recommend you bring a vehicle with 4WD / AWD. The driveway to the house is paved, but it is long, "S" shaped, and at an incline. 4WD / AWD will help you get up the driveway when there is snow and ice. The town generally does a good job of plowing and sanding the roads in the neighborhood in a timely manner after each snow storm, but if you need to drive while the snow is still falling, or you are going up to higher elevations such as Rocky Mountain National Park where they tend to get more snow, it's a good idea to have it.
The house is decorated for the holidays with an artificial Christmas tree and Christmas wreath. (Typically the week after Thanksgiving through New Year's Day)

We love staying at this home! It is easy to get to Safeway, the Park and downtown Estes.The home is very clean and organized. Grandkids love the game room and you can see the deer, wild turkeys and other wildlife. Violet is outstanding host! Very helpful if you have questions and gets back to you quickly.This is a 10 again on a return visit and we will be back!Great time!Kathy B

House was immaculate and ideally situated whether for trips into town or out to various trailheads. Violet is an excellent hostess who did a mid-week trash pick up and helped reset temperature lower on the hot tub for my little ones. Loved the views and seeing all the wildlife from the front porch.

My friends and I had a great 60th birthday reunion in this home. It had close proximity to Estes Park and RMNP. The communication prior to check-in was fabulous (very easy to remember the door code!). The neighborhood was quiet (a bit of road noise now and then) and we enjoyed seeing elk and deer. And the view of the mountains was so lovely! The beds were super comfy (which was good because we had to double up in the king beds!), and I loved the robes provided for lounging and the hot tub. Great coffee bar set up, and one friend enjoyed having the electric water kettle. Loved that all the doors were labeled so we didn't have to guess what was behind it! It was helpful having laundry since a couple of us were on the road several days prior to arriving. Can't comment too much on the electronics as we never turned on the TVs (WiFi worked great, though) and didn't use the game room (other than a quick game of PacMan just to test my teenage skills). But we would've loved the games in the game closet or access to all the books if we had more lulls in our conversations! Everybody loved this place--thank you!
