Perfect for a large family gathering. The equipment (kayaks, paddle boards, pool noodles, life jackets) for use in the pond and the floating dock were a real joy to the 24 grandkids. Also, our dog loves water and loved swimming with the kids. The only downside was the ticks, so bring tick repellant (there was some in the drawer). Also, if you are going to cook for a large group, you may want to bring paper and plastic ware and a couple of crock pots and a large spaghetti pot, like we did. We did move the small table from one of the upstairs suites to the downstairs to accommodate all for dining (moved it back before we left). The living space was perfect for all to gather and be together. The upstairs big TV was great for all to watch the FIFA socker games and movies. The outdoors privacy and space allowed us to play a lot of outdoor games without worrying about noise or bothering neighbors. Nice seating on the deck. Very private and peaceful location.

Great stay! Loved individual bathrooms. It was nice to have 2 refrigerators. the pond was enjoyed every day!

House was large with plenty of bedrooms and baths. We were a group of 27. Quite a drive on narrow roads to get to activities or stores of any type. Only one fridge which is not enough for a large group. Lots of cookware that needs to be tossed out. Remember to bring your own soap. No toilet brushes. Some sinks in baths do not drain properly. Bring your own bath soap. The welcome book needs attention. We did get assistance on 2 nights with a bonfire. One main issue was the bedrooms didn’t have blinds so you are up with the sun. In summary, the home is in need of some attention to detail for sure, especially for the price you pay. Our family has rented homes of this size many times so value for money just wasn’t there.
