Peek-A-Boo View, Amston Lake is located across the street from beautiful Amston Lake in Lebanon, CT. You will be staying just 50 yards away from the lake with direct access just across the street from one of the many public right-of-ways. The lake is a pristine 188-acre retreat located in Hebron and Lebanon, CT. The cottage is a sophisticated, mid-century modern gem with an expansive deck from which you can enjoy that peek of a water view!

This property was exactly what was needed for some family that I had come into the area to visit. It was clean, accurately represented, and the hosts were easy to work with. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Amston Lake or have visitors coming from out of town.

If you’re looking to experience Connecticut, this is the place! Nestled in old small lake community, it is surrounded by history, farm houses, and plenty of stone walls. Grocery stores and gas stations are within a close distance. The house, which I would consider a lake cottage, sits across the road from the lake with a restricted view of most of it. The deck was great with trees and beautiful bushes and plenty of piece and quite. We loved listening to the bull frogs every night. The bedrooms are small with a double or queen size bed in the master bedroom and two single size beds in the second room. There are two bedrooms with one available in the main area and one in the smaller bedroom.The sitting area is very comfortable with 1 couch and 2 chairs with a coffee table and all in good condition. The tv has an antenna with access to a few local channels. It also has a fire stick. We did not use the fire stick. The kitchen is comfortably small but has all the things we needed and is in great condition. This is a beautiful area of New England and has a ton of history including the civil war, all easily accessible from this house. One special things we did was go to Gillette’s castle, check it out, it’s one of a kind. We did have to communicate with the owners and they were great to deal with.We travel a lot and I grew up in this area. I can say if you want to experience Connecticut and stay at a place that represents its character, this is the place!

This is a lovely bungalow just across the street from Amston Lake. The hosts offer beach and parking passes, the price is more than reasonable, and you will love your stay here.

It was clean. The headboard on queen bed was not attached which when we turned at night it woke us up. Limited linens for five nights. WiFi was good the bathing supplies seemed to be left over from other guests. Laundry was a nice touch. From the south so heating was a learned experience. Beautiful area just felt like we didn’t feel like it was worth the price we paid.
