About this apartment rental
Piazza Embriaci, in the heart of the historic center, a charming apartment that sleeps 6, located on a convenient first floor (no elevator) and overlooking the square. The very high ceilings create a pleasantly dynamic interior layout. The hallway leads on one side to a spacious living room with a state-of-the-art kitchen without upper cabinets (induction cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso machine, electric kettle), a dining area with a large table (seats 6), and a conversation area with armchairs. The loft above provides a comfortable relaxation area equipped with a modern platform bed, a flat-screen smart TV, and a slate desk. The bathroom, preceded by an antechamber with a washing machine and laundry area (cordless vacuum cleaner, iron, and ironing board), features a walk-in shower and high-quality fixtures. The entryway hallway also leads to the two double bedrooms, located one above the other: the upper bedroom is accessed via a wooden staircase, and in addition to the double bed, there is a single pull-out sofa bed. The home has just been renovated: the wall colors, the brand-new furnishings, and the attention to detail create a tasteful atmosphere. The location is perfect for reaching Genoa’s main attractions and historic sites in just a few minutes: The Aquarium, the Porto Antico designed by Renzo Piano, the Cathedral and Piazza San Lorenzo, Palazzo Ducale, Piazza De Ferrari, and Via Garibaldi (Palazzo Rosso, Palazzo Bianco, and the Palazzi dei Rolli). In addition, the area is known for its pubs and restaurants with a lively nightlife, historic shops where you can buy local products, and the Polo Design district centered around Piazza Giustiniani, featuring furniture stores and art galleries. The house is perfect for a vacation exploring the wonderful city of Genoa; however, it is not suitable for very young children or people with mobility issues due to the internal stairs leading to the lofts.
