Our country house is located in a quiet residential area and is about 10 minutes from downtown Berchtesgaden. Nearby attractions include:
* the “Die Watzmann-Therme” leisure and water park (5-minute walk)
* Shopping options in the immediate vicinity
* Berchtesgaden Main Train Station, a 15-minute walk away
* Berchtesgaden Ice Rink
Many hikes and mountain bike tours can be started directly from the house.
Experience the thrill of hiking in Germany’s only alpine national park—the legendary Watzmann, the famous Königssee, the salt mine, and the Kehlsteinhaus.
Picturesque views, crystal-clear mountain streams and lakes

The property was fantastic. Clean, centrally located, but without the noise from the street. The property owner, Nicolle, was super nice and attentive without being intrusive. She even had two slices of apple cake and fresh eggs from her family’s property in our refrigerator when we arrived. I’d highly recommend staying here for anyone who wants to spend quality time in Berchtesgaden.

Lovely location, simple but beautiful and very comfortable apartment. I was greeted with fresh flowers, a slice of homemade cake and eggs from their chickens were in the fridge. The owners gave me wonderful hiking suggestions and were just a delight to talk with. Hope very much to stay there again!

We very much enjoyed staying at this apartment in Berchtesgaden. It's very comfortable, well stocked, and has a lovely view of the mountains.
The hosts were friendly and offered tips on what to do in the area, info about the bus to Salzburg, etc.
It's easy to walk to the main part of town from this apartment as long as don't mind the hills and a brief section of residential road with no sidewalk.
I recommend this apartment and would happily stay there again.
