About this cottage rental
Great new property situated in the middle of Boerne. Very secluded and surrounded by huge oak trees. Easy walk to Main Street (6 blocks). The Old Depot Walking Trail is a half block away. Take the trail East to Cibolo Creek or West to Bumdoodlers Pies! The Depot Cottage was newly built in Dec 2016 out of Hill Country limestone. It is modeled after the Old Nature Center Historic Building on Main Street. Depot Cottage is located on a street that used to be named Depot Street and housed the Boerne Depot Station. It is beautifully decorated with antique furniture and has all the modern amenities as well (WIFI is included). The three acre property is gated and there is a small fenced in grass area to keep pets safe. You will see whitetail and axis deer on the adjoining properties. Enjoy all the convenience of downtown Boerne while feeling like you are secluded in the Texas Hill Country.

This cottage was wonderful. It’s set on a very large, completely fenced property, with a smaller fence off of the porch, allowing for nice views while keeping your dogs close by. The deer were everywhere and beautiful to see. The house itself if was beautiful and perfect for two people. The bed was comfortable and the linens were of high quality. The location is very close to downtown, but felt like it was in the country. I highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay again.

Lovely, relaxing, well-appointed and charming cottage that feels like it’s in the country even though it’s in the heart of bustling Boerne. Lots of nearby restaurants and shops- easy walks. Hosts are thoughtful and communicative. Will stay here again!

Overall, the property was superb! Easy to get to. Lots of establishments within a close range. Very comfortable for sleeping in!
