About this apartment rental
Built in the 1940s, this remodeled property combines original detailing such as the gorgeous stone fireplace with modern furnishings and an open layout. Relax on a balcony with drink in hand and watch the sun sink into the Pacific. In the morning, get ready to hit the beach which enjoying views of the surf from the comfort of your apartment.
Pacific Villas: Unit 5 is located in the 3-story east building on the second floor. The unit is ocean facing with a partial southwest ocean view and is nestled in a small, 6-unit vacation rental complex.
Check In: Guests will be provided with a door code specific to their dates of stay and may self check in anytime after 4PM.
Check Out: Guests must depart by 11AM.
Property Details:
- Parking Disclosure: One parking spot is included with the unit, however, please note that the motor-court in accessed via a tunnel. Tunnel clearance is tight (6 ft 8 inches high & 8 ft 2 inches wide), therefore large vehicles may not have enough clearance to utilize the spot. We ask that guests plan accordingly and travel in smaller vehicles when possible for ease of convenience in parking.
- Unit accommodates two guests comfortably, however up to four guests are permitted with an added charge of $25/guest/night after two guests.
- Per the City of Oceanside Short-Term Rental (STR) Ordinance, Sec. 24.7.m, a two-night minimum is required for all stays. A longer minimum may apply for holidays and special events.
- Pacific Villas does not allow for parties or events within the complex nor do we permit photography shoots on the property.

PAYMENTS
- Payment can be made in the form of Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express
- 50% of the total is due at the time of booking and the remaining 50% will automatically charge to the card on file 30 days before arrival
- If the arrival date is less than 30 days out, the entire amount would be due at booking
- Credit card must have an expiration date later than the date of arrival
- Credit card will be kept on file in the case that damage is caused to the property
CANCELLATIONS: For a full refund of accommodation fees, cancellations must be made at least 14 full days prior to 4pm PST check in time of arrival date. For a 50% refund of accommodation fees, cancellations must be made 7 full days prior to 4pm PST check in time of arrival date. If cancellation is made less than 7 days in advance or if the guest decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.
MODIFICATIONS: Given 14 days notice prior to the date of check in, reservations can be moved up to 365 days out and the current trip amount applied as a credit towards the future stay. If choosing this option, guests must select an alternative date to move the funds to. If the new dates of stay are of lesser value, guests will be refunded the difference. If the new dates of stay are of higher value, host will outline the added cost for guest review.

This was great place right on the Strand. Great view of the waves right from the balcony. Loved hearing the waves crashing into the shore at night. Great place to go and cool off during the heat of summer. The back pathway up into the Towneship are was very convenient. Place was very clean and the bed was nice and comfortable. Kitchen was also nice to have to do a little bit of cooking. Look forward to returning.

The host was very helpful and responded very quickly. The place was very clean. And super close to the beach. Checking in and out was very easy. Parking is tight. But with a small car or truck it's no problem. We would definitely go back and stay again.

Had a fun time being able to see and hear ocean while sleeping. So many amenities and made me feel like I was at a second home. Being this close to the beach at this price and in this area was a blast and a treat. My wife and I were able to walk comfortably to most places to get food or coffee and really cool spots.

This is the perfect location if you want to be right at the ocean, just a walk across the path to beach and nicely decorated and has a fairly well stocked kitchen. There are even chairs and an umbrella for the beach. Communication with priority managers was efficient and they were quick to try to resolve our concerns. Now, the less desirable aspects of the property. Overall, the property was clean but I do think the kitchen could have been wiped down a bit better. A lot of dust on top of refrigerator and in the cabinets, including dusty pots. Also, the fan in living space was quite dusty. I think some blackout blinds in the bedroom and on the front door would be quite helpful as the security lights make the space very bright at night, even with blinds drawn. Property manager did try to help us with this, but this just resulted in a blanket over the window. And the noise from the upstairs unit was quite bad our last night, so much so that we had to knock on the door at 1130 at night to ask that the music be turned off. And we had a smoker in the unit next to us who just moved to the far side of the balcony when we asked her to stop smoking, especially since it is a non-smoking facility. Also, you can often hear people walking across the units above. The tenants around us the prior nights were not an issue at all. The inconsiderate tenant issues are not the fault of the property but there is always the potential due to the close nature of these units.
