The location was excellent and the villa itself is beautiful and fully equipped for your stay.
There is a problem with a couple of the showers. The water does not drain very well causing it to flood. This happened in the second floor shower room and the ground floor shower room. We advised Zap holiday who came out after the second flood and some sludge/ sand was removed but this is likely to be an ongoing issue. There was no bucket for the mop so it was difficult for us to clean up.

The house is very beautiful and comfortable for a big group. There are lots of stairs, so might not be suitable for small children and elderly. We were 4 families without young kids, in total 10. The house has 4 bedroom (2 en suites) with 6 bathrooms and it felt big enough. Having said that, when we arrived, the linnen and towels were there for 8 people, not 10 even though it was clear we will be 10. The pillows and duvets had stains and that was really off putting. The day after, I messaged the host (agency) and they brought missing linnen, two medium towels and only one smaller towel late in the evening. The terrace looked very promissing on the pictures and it was one of the reasons we booked the acommodation. However, it was messy with parasol on the floor, dirty tables and glass. Jacuzzi had an improvized cover on the water surface that didn't prevent bird poo being all over the place. The glass arround it was dirty as well. We got in touch with the owner who sent someone to empty and refill it, but it didn't help much. We are thankfull for the owner's reaction about jacuzzi, but it's a bigger problem that needs a fix. The location of the house is exceptional, in the old town with 3 minutes walk to the beach and house has good airco, so we still enjoyed our holidays, but it is shame that the basics (stained bedding, messy and dirty terrace) are not there. Whoever comes to prepare the house for the guests, either doesn't know how to do it, or doesn't care at all.
