About this cottage rental
Ground Floor: You enter the kitchen/dining room and then there is a living room with TV and a downstairs toilet.
First floor: 1 double bedroom with en-suite shower, toilet and basin. South facing terrace with barbecue, table, chairs and sun beds.
Electric heating throughout.
In a quiet village location 5 minutes drive from Saint Chinian with its twice weekly market, restaurants, cafe's and bars. Superb walking/mountain biking through the vineyards surrounding the village and only 12 kilometers from the canal du midi. There is a boulangerie in the village for your breakfast croissant and baguette and a cave co-operative for the obligatory wine tasting.There are numerous and varied excursions awaiting at only a short drive. To the north discover the beautiful regional nature park of Haut Languedoc, a haven for hikers and cyclists.
There are numerous wonderful walks around the village and in the surrounding countryside. Each village has its own character and some dating back to the Middle Ages. The area is rich in history, culture and has the most stunning scenery.
Amateurs of wine will be completely spoiled as there are numerous wine sellers, cooperatives and wine producers in the area. Cébazan is known for its excellent wine and the cooperative is a 2 minute drive from the property.

Thank you very much for having us at your lovely property in Cebazan. The location is great for driving to Saint Chinian, Roquebrun and Narbonne. We walked to and from Saint Chinian several times in the evening which took about 45 minutes. The properties terrace gets lots of sun all day, with sun loungers, table & chairs and the BBQ was good enough for cooking for 2. The kitchen is well equipped for in door cooking, with kettle, airfryer, pots pans, cooking, hob etc etc.. It was very hot (38c avg) for the week we stayed but there were plenty of fans and cold running water for cool showers. The area is very quiet but if you fancy an evening walk there is a good gravel track to walk up and explore. There isnt much in Cebazan as over recent years things have closed but the main attraction is the Wine cellar which is 2 minute walk from the property. Well worth a visit to sample and stock up on some lovely red cooperative wines. Thank you again :) Jon & Meg

The house although small is ideal for a couple wanting a convenient base in a beautiful area. Our host Pauline was very helpful particularly in supplying extra fans during exceptionally hot weather.

Charming property within walking distance of nice bakery to buy breakfast. A good base for driving to lovely mountain scenery and coastal resorts. Excellent communication with owner. WiFi very good.
