Located on over 100 wooded acres and surrounded by forest you'll enjoy quiet relaxation yet you'll be within 10-30 miles of area attractions. Area attractions include 6 nearby golf courses, snow skiing at Beech, Sugar, or Hawksnest Ski Resorts, antique and craft markets, fishing, hiking, gem mining, horseback riding, rodeos and more. Banner Elk, Boone, Linville Falls, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Penland School, Grandfather Mountain, and Blowing Rock are each no more than 30 miles, some much closer. For a special afternoon visit the Asheville / Black Mountain area and Biltmore Estate. The 8' wide wrap-around porch is a nice place to relax or make use of the gas grill. Cabin is ideally located for trekking in the Appalachian area and convenient to the Blueridge parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Linville, Boone, Blowing Rock, , and Roan Mountain, to name a few . The best part of the cabin and the location is sitting on the large porch in the rocking chairs, enjoying the cool mountain mornings, and the Marriott birds inhabiting the woods.

This cozy cabin was perfect for us. We are celebrating our 45th Wedding Anniversary and it was the exact get a way that we were wanting. Beautiful woods surrounding a cute cabin. We took walks around the area and had some much needed alone time away from work and our busy lives.We would definitely book here again.

Great stay.but even with the wifi ..phones still wouldn't connect and no TV available due to wifi connection
