About this lodge
Amazing Memories Lodge, located in the backyard of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Wears Valley, provides breathtaking Mountain View’s. Located just two miles from the Foothills Parkway (America’s Most Beautiful Drive) and only nine miles from Pigeon Forge. This seclude mountain home provides five bedroom and five baths designed to accommodate large groups. The Great Room, with twenty five foot wall of glass windows, is perfect gathering place for family meals, the comfortable and luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms are comparable to a luxury hotel, and the game room provides an atmosphere to enjoy some friendly competition. Free high speed internet, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and large screen high definition TV's provide all the amenities needed to keep up in today's world. All guests have free and unlimited access to our beautiful communal pool, catch and release fishing pond, and tasty deli which is located less than a mile away.
Many attractions are located next door. You will find the Hawk Skylift known as Sevier County’s highest chairlift with spectacular views! Also, Elvira’s Cafe ranked by Forbes magazine as the top 100 restaurants in the US.

Stayed from a Wed to Sun The property was okay. The beds were comfortable The air mattress had holes in them. The driveway is very steep. I wouldnt recommend more then 3 cars. when you park at the top its slippery when wet walking down. It is NOT handicap friendly Only way is by stairs. The house was just wiped over. Not deep cleaned There was a dirty sock in 1 of the beds. Cob webs in windows. We had 18 people, but only 13 towels, we ran out of garbage space, but we were checking out so we didnt have to pay 25 to carry it off somewhere. The view is nice. The gps goes straight to property which was nice. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the strip at pigeons forge which was perfect for us. The air didn't seem to cool like it should. I asked about a fire pit and the owner said there wasnt one, but didnt tell us it was not allowed so we brought one from home, to have s'mores, it made the smoke alarm go off. He called and asked us to put it out, which we did But before we could we had to get tools to fix the broken hose, and while doing so he watched and listened to us through the camera. Very uncomfortable. I did get a notification about a refund, for being an educator, but i dont have my card anymore, so i probably cant receive it. It served its pupose for our family. We couldnt stay agian because 2 of us have issues with stairs. Wifi didnt work good. We saw bears everyday, we were there they were very neat to watch and see up close

Beds were very comfortable. The driveway was downhill and you could not see anything to let you know where it dropped except to follow along a fence. After the first time, it was much easier to navigate. The 2nd parking area is at the top of the driveway and would require walking downhill to the house at a steep grade, and walking back uphill to the car. This could be hard for some people. The owners were staying close by and able to help when we couldn't get the heat to come on. So thankful for that! Plenty of room for everyone to gather or scatter!!

The view from the cabin was phenomenal . The air conditioning issues were a negative only because of the unusually high temperatures during the day. Window could use some screens since that had to be open to make the cabin temperature tolerable. There were some cobwebs high on the fireplace that drew the eyes. I am still awaiting my 10% discount refund 4 days after my stay.
