About this house rental
With the incredible location on Lillie Ave., you have the convenience of being able to walk to many unique stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and the beach. Our home was built in 1910 and is RUSTIC. The cottage is cozy and comfortable, but please remember it’s an older home. The hardwood floors creak a little, and the tile in the kitchen isn’t new. Lillie’s BOHO surf cottage is full of soul and good vibrations. With a wood stove in the main room, this vacation rental is NOT equipped with heat or air conditioning. Each room has a fan and a space heater. There is no dishwasher. Community tennis and basketball courts are a few minutes' walk from the house. Lookout Park is located nearby and has a playground for young children. Parking notes: Free parking is available in the driveway for two vehicles. Due to local laws, guests must be at least 21 to book. A parent or legal guardian must accompany guests under 21 for the reservation duration. Quiet Hours: 10:00 pm - 9:00 am. Please respect our neighbors.

For stays longer than 7 days, the unit is cleaned once a week with a $95 weekly cleaning charge. You will be a 5-minute walk to Summerland Beach, a 3-minute walk to Summerland Winery, a 3-minute walk to Red Kettle Coffee, a 3-minute walk to Summerland Beach Café, a 5-minute walk to GODMOTHER’s bookstore and cafe, a 5-minute drive to Montecito (north), an 8-minute drive to Carpinteria (south), and a 10-minute drive to Santa Barbara (north). Guests can feel at home with amenities like a washing machine and WiFi. Experience what our Summerland Beach Cottage offers while staying at our family house.

Beautiful cottage. Great picture window looking out at the ocean and Channel Islands. We will definitely will be back. Quick walk to restaurants and the beach. Amy was wonderful. A great host and provided everything we needed and more!

Our host(ess) offered gracious hospitality and made sure we could get in touch with her with any questions ! Lots of varied books and games are available. . The kitchen has salt, pepper, various spices, olive oils, vinegar and keurig & regular coffee makers . . Such a lovely quaint cottage !

Amazing cozy beach cabin with California surfer boho vibes. Love the uniqueness of the property - felt more like a home than a stuffy vacation rental. View of the ocean through the large window was unbeatable, and all shops and food stops are mere blocks away to walk - as well as the beach! Host was a wonderful communicator. Will be back next time we are the area!

Absolutely loved my quilting weekend here! Spent the whole weekend at my sewing machine looking out the beautiful picture window. Hoping to come back next year.
