About this house rental
The perfect place to relax surrounded by nature. A detached villa with a garden and a view of the lake; an ideal starting point for exploring Lake Trasimeno and all the major towns near Perugia (Assisi, Gubbio, Spello, and Cortona). All major amenities—such as a supermarket, pharmacy, post office, and self-service laundry—are located in the immediate vicinity. A water park and a bike path running along the lake’s shore are just a few minutes’ walk away.

Our time at Villa del Riccio could not have been better. Our host, Lucio, was fantastic, in touch with me frequently from the time of the reservation through our 9-day stay, offering help with everything from side trip planning to questions about the house to offering extra blankets for a cool night. The house is terrific, with ample indoor and outdoor space—two shaded eating patios, a balcony, and gazebo. It is very well equipped, with every cooking convenience, starter condiments, even a pizza oven. And the views—oh, my. Ample outdoor seating was one of many thoughtful extras. It’s a perfect place for a week in the country; you do have to drive to stores and restaurants, but that was part of the fun. We truly hated to leave.
