Everything was perfect. Idyllic. Quiet. Mohringen was a tiny close knit community with roots back to 800 BC. Amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer. The little reading room will now be my most favorite room in the whole world!

About this house rental

This historic house, built in 1730 and designated a historic landmark, is located at the foot of Upper Swabia’s sacred mountain—the Bussen—and directly on the hiking trail, not far from the Danube Cycle Path on the edge of the Swabian Alb.
During the careful restoration, which utilized eco-friendly and sustainable materials, many details—such as uneven floors, occasionally low ceilings, and a steep staircase—were preserved. This allows guests to feel as if they’ve stepped back in time while still enjoying modern comforts.
