Coming up to 5 years now, we are under a major 10-week summer contract comfortably housing a rotating delegation of over 100 American humanitarian youth workers. Operating in five seamless, back-to-back blocks of 24 guests at a time, the split-level layout allows for flawless group dynamics and strict supervision (comfortably splitting 14 female guests on the upper level and 10 male guests on the lower level).

* THE 60-FOOT ENCLOSED VERANDAH: An expansive sleeping space wrapped in cool breezes. It holds 1 standard Bunk bed (plus a secondary bunk bed tucked around the corner when needed) and 4 to 5 comfortable Single beds. Highly popular with kids and teenagers.

Tim & Maria were the most welcoming hosts - they went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable & relaxing. They gave us so much tourist advice which helped us around both Upolu & Savaii. Would highly recommend Samoan Highland Hideaway.

We had a beautiful stay and Tim and Maria’s home. They were so welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. The grounds were immaculately kept by gardener Ioane. Great big space for families. Clean and tidy and kept nice and cool with fans in every room. Well equipped kitchen, great washing machine and restful living areas. Hosts were wonderfully polite and easy to communicate with. Poor cellphone reception if you don’t plan on driving to town daily. Wifi available but not always reliable. Otherwise not a single issue with our stay. We would absolutely recommend this stay to other families!

Tim and Maria were incredible hosts, going beyond expectations in helping us obtain medical care for a stuck child during our stay. Fruit was delicious, flowers beautiful, house spacious and Tim and Maria extremely friendly. Only improvement be air conditioning.

Beautiful property. Great house to stay in with heaps of beds and room. Great water pressure in showers which was an awesome bonus. Very clean. Hosts Tim and Maria are great.
