About this house rental
This 1920's treasure holds nearly 100 years of special memories for our family. It has recently been lovingly renovated and restored and is very comfortable. Much of the original shiplap, beaded-board, and heart pine floors have been retained and restored, as well as much of the original exterior and front porch. There are two bedrooms downstairs, as well as two baths. Upstairs offers a loft play area and a small bedroom with two twin beds. Central heat and air, free WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, comfortable living/dining area, a gas grill, and beautiful screen porch will make your stay in Laurel both memorable and enjoyable. This home is located in a very safe area of Jones County, just 5 short minutes from beautiful downtown Laurel, with it's many shops and restaurants. Whether you are visiting family and friends, sightseeing, or in town on business, Our Little Farmhouse is the place for you.

Beautiful and serene property- fit my family of six (with 4 teenagers) perfectly. House was well-stocked with plenty of linens, towels, extra pillows, a pack-n-play, and a washer and dryer. There were even water bottles, coffee pods, and snacks provided. The host even included thoughtful touches like fans and noise machines in each of the rooms, and the beds were all comfortable. The kitchen had everything one could ever need and more for prep/serving (even a set of China). Had a little bit of check in troubles, but the host got back to me within minutes and was able to solve the issue. Close enough to downtown Laurel (around 7 min driving) to go explore and shop but far enough away from the hustle. The side porch was perfect for early morning coffee and bird watching. The entire house was decorated nicely and was so clean. It truly felt like staying at a family member’s house, not a vacation rental- Love that!

This was a family week get together. You have an awesome farmhouse close to things to see and do. Surroundings were very quiet and nice. I particularly enjoyed the screened in porch in the mornings. The next time we are in LAUREL we hope your place will be available.
