A first-floor apartment in a charming historic building in Rome’s historic center, featuring hardwood floors and wood trim, with two double beds—warm and inviting, equipped with all the comforts of home (Smart TV; Wi-Fi) and a 4-burner stove for cooking and preparing delicious breakfasts in the morning. Guests can step right out the door and find themselves in the heart of Rome, walking to St. Peter’s Square, the splendid gardens of Castel Sant’Angelo, and the Mole Adriana. From there, by crossing the beautiful bridges over the Tiber, they can visit Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, all the way to the central Via del Corso and the Spanish Steps. GIANLUCA was a gracious host, and the place was very convenient for visiting the Vatican! We thoroughly enjoyed our time, and overall it was a 5-STAR stay! Thank you Gianluca for allowing us to check out a bit later on the last day, and letting us store our bags in the apartment until mid-afternoon!!!
The only reason I had to deduct a couple stars for “accuracy of listing” was because it’s not actually a 2-bedroom apartment as stated, but a single studio with a double bunk bed and a futon in the same room. For us it was fine, but it’s important to know this, in case other parents want to have some privacy away from their kids, or want to stay up later after their kids have gone to sleep.
Also the key pickup is actually at another building a block away. It’s not a big problem, but if you are carrying all your luggage with you, then it will be a bit of extra walking, that’s all. He did send a very helpful video to show us how to use the keys after arriving at the apartment, so we did not have any problems getting in.
Overall it’s a great place, very clean, and a very gracious host! Air conditioning was very cold and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you need. Thank you Gianluca!!

Nice appt, quiet at night. Well located near Vatican and métro station. A lack or light during day because the appt is located in an interior courtyard.
