This is a very clean, close-to-the-beach, pet friendly property, however it was smaller than I expected. I have rented 2 bedroom properties for several years but this one had a much smaller kitchen/livingroom area…the area you will be in the most when you aren’t on the beach. Luckily it was just me and my BFF. Had there been 3 or 4 adults or even 2 moms and their kids, it would’ve been wayyyyy too crowded for my taste. Likewise, there was little to no storage space in one of the bedrooms. The other had a dresser( I was there a week). There were plenty of body towels but only 3 or 4 wash cloths for 2 adults/6 night rental. The host offered to bring me more when I brought it to her attention but I had my friend bring some instead. Only 1 dish towel in the kitchen. The window AC in the livingroom would rarely cut off for long and we had to constantly monitor the tv volume accordingly. The grass was high and only got higher. In all fairness, the week before produced a lot of rain. There was standing water under the stairs till the day we left. But the rest of the yard could have been cut. There is no beach view. The cabin is 4 streets from the beach. Easy 3-4 minute walk but I would suggest a wagon for your stuff. You can’t drive on the beach. That’s a bummer if you have a lot of stuff but it makes laying out nice bc you don’t have to worry about idiot drivers!! Overall, it’s a clean affordable property if there’s just a party of 2 or if you don’t mind the close quarters.
