About this house rental
Free WIFI - 3*** cottage - The Maison du Rempart gîte "Foirail" is on the first floor, accessible to people with reduced mobility by an access ramp. It is quiet, cool in summer, comfortable, it has a functional kitchen, a courtyard where you can park your car or better get some fresh air, have lunch in the shade of an awning. Possibilities for hiking, or sightseeing, river (10 kms), Pont du Gard, Uzès, the Ardèche (30 mn).

What an incredible opportunity to stay in a what feels like a medieval town on top of an isolated hill! Lussan is classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France and fully deserves it! The sunset over distant mountains is spectacular. Unfortunately, there are no local grocery story or bakery. The house itself has all the amenities necessary for a great stay. It stayed cool even in a heat wave thanks to its thick stone walls. VRBO users, be aware the house is managed as a "gite", and so, like in many others in the region, you have to pay extra for bed sheet and towels (in cash). Check in was fine, but originally with a very short one-hour window. We were delayed and only then were given instructions to get into the house. The host passed by later to finish checking us in.

The cottage is beautifully situated in a picturesque small town. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, making our stay extra special. Everything was perfectly arranged, and we felt at home immediately. This is truly a must-visit for anyone looking for a relaxing and charming getaway.
