The perfect base from which to explore this beautiful region: royal châteaux, vineyard routes, troglodyte dwellings, and the Loire à Vélo cycling trail.
Ideally located between Chinon and Bourgueil (5 minutes), Saumur and Center Parcs Loudun (25 minutes), and Tours (45 minutes). Immediate access to the Chinon Nuclear Power Station (CNPE).
Shops and bakeries are just a 5-minute cycle ride away.
The cottage comfortably accommodates 4 to 6 guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher and washing machine, and basic cooking essentials are provided.
The cosy living room, with dining area and TV, features a sofa bed prepared to ensure a comfortable night's sleep for groups of 5 to 6 guests.
On the ground floor, a small shower room and separate WC are accessible from the kitchen.
Upstairs, two tastefully decorated bedrooms, each furnished with a queen-size bed (160 × 200 cm), are accessed via a staircase which is fairly steep but secured for children with a safety gate at the top.
Baby equipment is available on request (2 travel cots, high chair, changing mat and pushchair).
The enclosed grounds provide a private garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, ideal for relaxing in complete privacy.
Fans and a portable air-conditioning unit are available during the summer months.
Electric vehicle charging point available (paid service on request).
Secure bicycle storage 🚲
The cleaning fee includes bed linen, bath towels and tea towels.
Pets are very welcome. Please let us know when making your booking.
From November to March, a small supply of firewood is provided free of charge; any additional wood is charged at €10 per bundle.

What a perfectly lovely weekend stay in the Loire! Just moments away from Chinon this well-equipped and appointed gîte has everything you need: we loved the cottage style and the focus on green-friendly practices. The owners were gracious and very responsive. We’ll definitely be back!
