About this apartment rental
Ground floor two bedrooms with two bathrooms apartment, situated in a beautiful traditional Villa from 1903. located 10 min easy walk to the Pile gate, main entrance to the Old Town without stairs.
Consist 100 m2 of the apartment and 60m2 Garden with outdoor barbecue (in use) and extraordinary terrace with a beautiful view of the open sea and residential area Boninovo.

Very close to old city. 10 - 15 mins walk downhill. Excellent condition of property with great view of the sea. Garden and balcony were added attraction.. where we spent most of our time. Although house is pver 150 yrs old, it is well maintained and has a european charm. Owner was gracious and sent in a bottle of wine with bday card, since it was my wife's birthday.
Disadv - … a big one is that parking although, close by (4-5 walk). Is down several steps from one street to the next. With luggage, this is almost an impossible task. Owner offered cab service. Expensive .. but must have.
A second disadvantage is that the house is on a main thoroughfare and cabs/ uber cannot stop in front of the house without special permission. Public transport (buses) are plenty , but very crowded and stops are not close by the house. Walking is the best option to and from the house.
Third is that, although the property has two bathrooms (and very clean) … they are not attached to bedrooms. One is in the hallway and another next to the kitchen. Was not an issue for us… but could be for some guests.
Many restaurants close by especially in old city. However, that would mean a walk 10 mins downhill and uphill. Delivery is an option, but we did not try it.

The view of the sea was awesome. We loved the outdoor seating area. The inside is a little dark. The second bathroom is functional but very small and the washing machine is in the same room.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The outdoor space with the view of the Adriatic was stunning, it was hard to tear yourself away to go out for the day! Ivanka and Dube are wonderful hosts who were so accommodating when our flight was cancelled and we needed to extend our stay. Communication was very easy. The apartment is just a 7 minute walk to Old Town, less than 10 minutes to the market and very near to two bus stops which made good pick up points if you are taking any small group tours. There were things to see on every walk we took near the house. I can not imagine a better location if you want to be near to everything but have a neighborhood feel. The house itself is historically interesting which we loved, everything was extremely clean, comfortable beds and necessities thoughtfully provided. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home we felt very lucky to have found you!

Great location to old town. Stunning views. Clean, organized, comfortable beds. Amenities provided to get us started. Wonderful host...Ivanka promptly communicated in a warm friendly manner. Restaurant recommendations did not disappoint.
