About this apartment rental
The Second Story is a newly built (2023) carriage house on private property in downtown Indianapolis, two miles north of the city center. Located in the Historic Herron Morton neighborhood, Second Story is a 20-minute drive from the airport, a few minutes drive (or 25-minute walk) to the Bottleworks district and Massachusetts Avenue shopping areas, and a 7-8 minute drive to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indianapolis Convention Center.

Our host was prompt in sending us the access codes and once inside, found a beautifully bright and well-appointed carriage house! All of the spaces were immaculately clean and ready for us to relax. The kitchen had beautiful appliances, including a fabulous coffee bar with coffee, tea, and snacks along with a hot water pot for our morning tea!!! We were very comfortable in the lounge area sofa and TV. The bedroom closet was huge and accommodating for our luggage and clothes. The bed was super comfortable! We loved the bathroom, especially the shower and the extra large counter and drawers. Having a heavy-duty washer-dryer combo was so appreciated. We loved the location…very convenient for all areas of Indianapolis! We will stay here again and highly recommend for anyone coming to the area!

This carriage house is precious! Super clean and stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. We were only there for one night but I'll definitely stay here again!

The carriage house was wonderful. Amy was so communicative and helpful and the property is gorgeous all around. Great quiet neighborhood and easy access to downtown. A great stay!
