The location was ideal, we got what we needed. However this place was not clean. The floors stained your feet black and most of the place had a layer of grime. The host Paola was lovely to communicate with and resolved the biggest of our concerns. The kitchen is not fully equipped with many tools not available. They charge for the coffee pods for the Keurig machine.The parking is indeed private but not included which was misleading in the title, it is an additional 23 a day (and tourist tax is not included in booking cost, the host asks for cash) and is a 10 minute walk uphill from the apartment. I don’t believe I would stay again if I visit Florence again.

The location is amazing, and the apartment is minimalistic and very clean. However, the temperature inside was around 28C (82F) when we arrived, and it remained that way through the night, making it quite uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. When we contacted the host about the A/C, we were made to feel uncomfortable for even asking. We later realized that she had control over the A/C units, which added to our frustration.I still recommend the place for its style and location, but I’d likely consider other options next time.
