The view was as promised. But note that when there is a view, there is a hill to be climbed. Breakfast was very nice. They have an amazing banana bread. Outdoor terrace was lovely. We really appreciated the extremely fast check in process. I booked the room at noon, at 1 pm we were at the desk and found our key.
Nothing to write about. We forgot a jacket in the room which they sent without delay (within Switzerland).

Fabulous stay! Our room was in the attic, so there were always lots of steps to get in but it was so worth it. David and Sabrina run an amazing stay, every day has a delicious local breakfast, with bread, toppings, fruits, tea, coffee and baked foods. The room itself has a bed, chair, side tables, and a wardrobe. The shared bathroom and shower were always clean and almost always available. In the main area there's a fridge and a minibar where you can pay a small fee to access helpful items like coffee, drinks and snacks. Lastly David offers home made cooked dinner at a price from Wed - Sat, and that was such a highlight of our stay there.
The location is quite a bit elevated from the station, the bus is the easiest way to come and go since there's a stop right in front of the stay, but if you want to walk then either you have to walk down steep switchbacks without much sidewalk or take a bit of a hike down that's around 150m of elevation.

Fantastic view looking out over Locarno. Excellent breakfast, most of it home made. Room very clean. Friendly owner. Bus stop right outside. Free local travel ticket came with the accommodation.

Good located hotel with a good view from the mountain down to the lake. Terrible room, not able to stand in it, toilettes and shower outside the room, not even a sink. Breakfast was excellent. Overall a bad value for money paid.
The room! Not being able to stand in the room was terrible, also going by small stairs to the toilettes and shower was bad.
