About this house rental
A beautiful, spacious two bedroom, two bath house, on an extra large lot built for beauty and for privacy. Located in the Orchard District part of Mid-Town, It has mature trees, grass lawns, and modern landscaping. Open airy floor plan, one story, large windows, gas fireplace, washer/dryer laundry room, large two car garage, with off street parking. The bedrooms feature new luxurious queen beds in a quiet part of the house. The kitchen is light and authentically retro, yet gourmet, Mid Century with late 1950's built in oven and range, corner sink and new counters. A Weber propane outdoor grill is provided. The master bath features original double vanity sink, and enclosed bathtub/shower, with original blue and pink fixtures. The home also features a den/office, attached solarium, baseboard hydronic (water filled) heat, on-demand hot water, all new flooring throughout. The Midcentury furniture and decor is inviting and provides a cool vibe with built-in valence mood lighting. Mt. Super fun time capsule to stay in. Great central location. Responsive and personable host. Because of the period construction, be aware that it can get a little hot and stuffy but it’s obvious that host has done everything short of changing things architecturally to compensate by installing window a/c and fans. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
