The cottage is really cute and charming, with a relaxed hippie vibe. The location is beautiful: stunning views and a lovely pool. Aside from the dogs' barking, it was a peaceful and relaxing environment. However… the cottage did have some drawbacks. Upon arrival, it wasn't clean: black mold in the bathroom, a dirty kitchen and pans, an unhygienic bathroom, and the shower drain barely drained, meaning you quickly found yourself standing in a layer of mold-covered water. The screens didn't stay in place properly, and the knife set was of terrible quality. A large picnic table was uncomfortable because it was far too far from the benches. No oven, no Wi-Fi, and no air conditioning, but we knew that already. The entrance to the pool was partially blocked by a large bush, meaning you literally had to crouch down to the pool, leaving welts on your skin. The pool was supposed to be cleaned twice a week, but we didn't see anyone for a week. Fishing out some trash yourself isn't a big deal, but a net with holes won't get you very far.The welcome was brief and rushed; the owner was back in the car within five minutes. No time for questions or explanations. All in all: a beautiful place with potential, but the maintenance and service could definitely be better – especially considering the high price we paid.

We enjoyed our stay a lot, what a beautiful place. Thank you.

Nothing was missing here. The reception and service were very friendly. The house is original and furnished with great attention to detail. The pool with view and diving board is wonderful. We discovered many beautiful things in the Alentejo. This holiday here was perfect.

Mixed weather to start with. The land needed it badly! Took a trip back to Lisbon oceanarium on a wetter day and an evening trip to the Roman baths in Evora. Beautiful drive through the cork trees. It is a glorious calm, clean, comfortable home with a fantastic swimming pool for teens and adults alike. I would be cautious with young children. We loved it. without hesitation the five of us would return. The night time has a wonderful chorus of Crickets and frogs. And the morning is greeted by the donkey...but only for a moment! Thank you.
