About this villa rental
Typical apartment in Tuscan villa, well renovated, for two people, with the possibility of accommodating a third guest in the sofa bed in the living room.
The entrance, on the ground floor, leads directly to a large room (with sofa, armchairs, 32 '' TV and fireplace) which also includes a dining area, with table and six chairs. Also on the ground floor, on the left as you enter, there is the kitchen. The furniture includes a small table with two chairs, in wrought iron, which guests can place outside the main entrance and thus make quiet breakfasts or unforgettable dinners with a view of Porta Pispini, in the quiet of Santa Chiara. On the first floor there is a lovely double bedroom with a 17 '' TV and a bathroom.
The apartment is equipped with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, wi-fi, hairdryer. Guests can also use a washing machine available in a common area.
Santa Chiara is an ancient complex, a former convent of 600, carefully restored and consists of a large building that houses three apartments as well as the home of the owner. It is located on the top of a hill just outside Siena (only 15 minutes walk from Piazza del Campo where the famous Palio is run twice a year!). It is accessed through a gate and a tree-lined avenue that flows into a large garden with ample parking facilities and beautiful views of both the city and the hills typical of the Tuscan landscape. It is surrounded by 5 hectares of well-kept countryside, with a large olive grove that produces an excellent extra virgin olive oil. The estate can be turned on foot making a pleasant walk going to rest under a hundred-year-old oak tree. A swimming pool, an indoor car park and a washing machine are included in the price.

Thank you again to our amazing hosts for such a wonderful stay in the Red Wine Villa. It was perfect for our time exploring Tuscany! The location close to Siena made dinners convenient and the beautiful pool was much needed after days full of exploring. The AC in the bedrooms was a lifesaver, especially given the heat wave! Don’t hesitate in booking this perfect Tuscan retreat.

This villa in Sienna was lovely. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the apartment was true Tuscany and plenty of space for 2 couples .
A 20 minute walk took you to restaurants and shopping.
Wineries are close to drive as well.
Enjoyed our visit.

The house was wonderful. The A/C in the bedroom was great. It was super convenient to have a washer in the apartment. The location is perfect. The walk into Siena is workable but we usually ended up there at night after our day trips and it was very easy to park. This is a wonderful location to do day trips to all of Tuscany. We will be back for sure! Claudia is extremely helpful with recommendations on food, touring and all things Siena.

This is a very nice property with an excellent location. The issue we had was that the property was advertised as 2BR while it actually was 1BR for a party of 2. I was traveling with my cousin, necessitating 2 bedrooms. When I learned on the day of check in that it was only 1BR, I was informed quite inflexibly that an additional bedroom would cost an additional €200, required to be paid in cash upon checkin. I do not believe they were trying to deceive us, but rather I was offended and felt pressured by their lack of understanding and inflexibility on the point of their description having been misleading. The overall cost was reasonable for the high quality of the apartment. They just need to work on communication and customer service, in my view.
