About this house rental

Wooden chalet located in the countryside, with a private, secure pool and air conditioning. Fully equipped with all modern comforts. Designed for guests with limited mobility. New construction. A little further down is a charming little village with very picturesque houses. Great location. In the heart of the Dordogne. Ideal for nature-based or sightseeing vacations.

Bath towels and linens provided.

Fully equipped kitchen: Dishwasher, coffee maker, stovetop, dishes, microwave, kitchen utensils, washing machine, dryer...

Accommodation is as described - clean and fresh. Pool is lovely. Comms with Wilfrid was very good - thank you Google translate. All was quiet and peaceful just 30 mins drive into Bergerac. Points for improvement- property is very new feeling with little thought to cooking practicalities- no chopping board, zero space to prepare food which is disappointing. BBQ was available apparently but never seen. Aircon essential and very good in living room but nothing - not even fans in the bedrooms. This was uncomfortable. Finally - and really sadly the WiFi wasn’t working. Wilfrid tried his best on the first night but no luck and no furthe communication as to why on when it would be restored. All that said - loved the setting and would return.
