Alba Vacation Home in Castro, in the heart of Salento, with a terrace offering spectacular views.
The apartment is equipped with mosquito screens, air conditioning, a washing machine, and free Wi-Fi.
The first floor consists of a kitchen/living room with a double sofa bed and a bathroom;
On the mezzanine level, there is a bedroom with a private bathroom accessible via a staircase, and access to a terrace with a sea view.

Castro is a small town located along the eastern coast of the Salento peninsula.It boasts ancient origins, tracing its roots back to the Roman Castrum Minerve due to the presence of a temple dedicated to Minerva; this discovery confirms the Salento town as the landing place of Aeneas. Since 2013, it has received the Blue Flag award every year for its clean, crystal-clear sea.In addition, our guests can enjoy local food and music events, as well as cultural events, the archaeological museum exhibition, and a visit to the marvelous Zinzulusa Cave—the only Italian karst site among the world’s top ten deemed worthy of protection (KWI).

We spent 4 pleasant days in Castro Marina.Antonella gave us a warm welcome. The accommodation is comfortable and clean. The terrace with sea view is definitely a plus, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or relaxing at the end of the day. A good place to stay while discovering the area. We enjoyed staying there and would recommend

We just finished up 1.5 weeks here, this was our first trip to Puglia. I picked this location based off outdoor view photos alone and was not disappointed! The town of Castro is lovely, very active in the evenings, all noise and happenings in the historic center can be heard from the apartment but we thoroughly enjoyed the music, events and even fireworks nearby.
The apartment is well equipped and has the luxury of 2 bathrooms. If there is any issue with stairs keep in mind that the bedroom is on the upper floor.
You can easily walk to 2 different supermarkets and the historic center, the walk to the marina is also possible (about 15 minutes) as long as physical capabilities allow for steep inclines and stairs.
The only negative I could put would be the parking situation, yes there is available onsite parking which is a huge plus but the driveway is fairly narrow and had multiple cars/motorbikes and sometimes made it very difficult to enter and exit especially. This aside we would for sure recommend and would stay again!
