About this house rental
Your relaxing Cape Cod escape starts here. Tucked into a peaceful South Chatham neighborhood, this sunny, updated home puts beach days, outdoor meals, and unhurried family time within easy reach.
Walk 0.4 miles to Forest Beach for sand and sea, or head 0.3 miles to Taylor’s Pond for fishing, kayaking, or paddleboarding. The neighborhood tennis and pickleball courts are less than a quarter-mile away, while Chatham’s shops and restaurants are close by.
Come home to bright, comfortable spaces made for being together: a living room plus a sun-filled family room with cathedral ceilings, HDTVs, Wi‑Fi, and a queen sleeper sofa. Three bedrooms include a king primary suite, a queen room, and a twin room—comfortably sleeping up to 8 guests. Central A/C keeps summer stays cool.
Outside, linger over dinner on the private fenced patio with a gas grill and outdoor shower, then spread out for yard games on the large front lawn. Up to three cars can park on-site.
Dogs are welcome (up to two, under 20 lb each; additional cleaning fee applies). For safety, guests bring their own or rent bed linens and bath/beach towels; pillows, blankets, and bed coverings are provided. Cape Linen Rental is a local option.

Beautiful vacation spot! The weather was perfect, and we enjoyed the beach every daybeing only 1/2 mile from the property. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. The backyard was fenced in and perfect for our dog. There is plenty of space for other family members as well, if they were to join you.

My family and I (4 adults) had the pleasure of staying at this property. It was a new area for us, but we truly enjoyed the area and took many walks around the neighborhood (and used the tennis court too). It’s about a 10min walk to nearby public beach (beach is not great for swimming due to rocks, but very nice otherwise). The house is amazing and very welcoming. We felt like staying in a home away from home. Kate and family had done a wonderful job in making sure all appropriate amenities were available and the decor was so welcoming.

This is a Beautiful House ,, Just far enough a block or off of Rt 28 to make easy to get to all locations ,on the Cape ,,The house was completely updated and a fully equipped kitchen ,,,2 locations with Smart TV apart from each other ,, The Bedroom size and furnishings were more than adequate each with a large closet ,,.. The outside patio area was beautifully landscaped and had plenty of area for entertaining with the table sofa and chairs and grille ,,,,Overall this is a house we would come back too ,, The numerous Hydrangea should now be in Bloom ....This was our first visit to the Cape and were impressed with everything ,,

The owner was kind enough to allow us to arrive a few hours before 5:00 PM on Saturday and she left a nice bottle of wine and chips to welcome us.
It’s a good thing we arrived early before our guests because we found issues that needed immediate attention. The couch in the living room was covered in dog hair and there was a pile of dirt left on the floor and couch in the sunroom. The coffee tables and other surfaces in the living room and sunroom needed dusting.
The other issues that bothered us were: lockbox key removal was difficult, vacuum cleaner in entrance closet was broken, master bathroom outer shower curtain had dark mold on the bottom two inches, wooden floors needed a good cleaning, garbage instructions were incorrect, Nest thermostat instructions were difficult and we were unable to turn the heat on except for the sunroom area.
We paid an extra cleaning fee for our dog and expected to find the house sparkling clean. We feel that we left the house cleaner than we found it. We vacuumed with the battery operated one we found in the garage before we left and there was no dog hair anywhere.
Overall, we enjoyed the neighborhood and Forest Beach area and hope to visit again.
