About this house rental
Here, you’ll enjoy the luxurious feeling of having Chiemsee all to yourself.
Chiemsee, separated from the garden only by a country road, offers spectacular views of the islands, the lake, and the mountains from every living room and bedroom. The house was extensively renovated in 2014–15 and welcomes guests with a cozy and elegant atmosphere in a luxury country house style. It is surrounded by a 500 m² garden. A separate garage with a radio-controlled remote is available for one vehicle. There is a cozy tiled stove providing central heating in every room. All windows are made of soundproof double- and triple-glazed glass, so neither the activity on the beach nor the noise from the country road can disturb the peace inside. The spacious living room with dining area spans the entire length of the house and offers over 40 m² of space with two patio doors. A fully equipped country-style kitchen provides an additional dining option. On the garden level, there is a solid-wood sauna and a laundry room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The amenities are rounded out by 2 large HD TVs and 1 smaller HD TV, a DVD player, a Hi-Fi system, Internet radio, and free Wi-Fi.
In the nearby town center of Chieming, all daily necessities can also be found within walking distance. In the immediate vicinity of the house (within a radius of approximately 200 m) there is a beach, boat rentals, bike rentals, mini-golf, and the Chiemsee steamboat that sails to Men’s and Women’s Islands, a café/snack bar on the beach, an Italian restaurant with a beer garden open late every day, Lake and a traditional Bavarian restaurant with a beer garden and sun deck. The house is also cleaned once a week during the rental period. The on-site manager is available to help with any problems or questions.

Wonderful house. Great Amenities and the Views are spectacular. Host was pleasant and responsive. Had a wonderful time in Chiemsee. Paddleboarded on the lake, Golfed at the the course and ate at and wonderful restaurant just up the street. Loved our time their. Great House and Host!

We spent a week in the property as a family. We couldn’t have asked for more, from the guy showing us around on arrival to the house itself. Clean, well equipped and with the most amazing views over the lake.
Would definitely return and recommend.

Short and sweet - the property was perfectly catered to our needs.
The house itself provides all comforts one could expect with comfortable living, large bedrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, and plenty of privacy. The available SUPs make staying at the lake (literally across the road) a perfect starting point for an active holiday. The host is very helpful with suggestions and in answering questions.
Within walking distance plenty of shops (bakery, supermarket, petrol station) activities (beach, bike rentals, ferry, mini-golf) and restaurants. The Chiemsee area itself has more than enough to offer for water sports but also city trips (Munich and Salzburg), biking and hiking
all in all exactly what we were hoping for!

I cannot rate this property highly enough. An incredibly comfortable house directly opposite Chiemsee Lake which was perfect for swimming and paddle boarding. There are also cafes and bars within close walking distance.
In addition to the local attractions of the lake, mountains and islands, it is conveniently situated for visiting Munich and Salzburg, and within ease reach of the Eagles Nest.
It was amazing to be able to wake, stroll across the road and have a morning swim before breakfast. Also a highlight was watching the glorious sunsets whilst drinking beer in the local bar.
One of our best family holidays ever. We spent an enjoyable week with our two teenage children.
