About this apartment rental
For your visit to Dresden, we offer you a stylishly furnished vacation apartment. The apartment is just under 40 square meters in size and features a living room with a sofa bed, a bedroom with a double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom. The bright and inviting living room faces south toward Peschelstraße, while the bedroom faces north toward the courtyard.
A small wood-burning stove adds a special touch of coziness during the colder months.
The apartment is located on the first floor, along with another vacation rental.
The apartment has been lovingly renovated in a classic style. The floor has been covered with white-oiled wooden planks, the doors have been restored with attention to detail, and high-quality wooden windows have been installed. Allergy sufferers in particular will feel right at home.
The apartment is furnished with a pleasant combination of historic and modern furniture.
The vacation rental is a non-smoking apartment. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. A modern ventilation system supplies the apartment with fresh air. There are seating areas in the courtyard.
Towels and bed linens are provided free of charge. A portable crib and a wooden high chair can be provided for small children.
Ample free parking is available in the immediate vicinity of the vacation rental.
For bike trips, a total of 3 women’s bikes and 5 men’s bikes (26-inch and 28-inch) are available at no extra charge for the two vacation apartments. Please bring your own bike helmets. Please note that use of the provided bikes is at your own risk.
It takes only about 15 minutes to bike to downtown.
There are several shopping options nearby. Two bakeries are within walking distance, one of which is also open on Sundays. Otherwise, the “Elbepark” shopping center—also within walking distance—offers a wide range of shopping options.
There is a seating area in the green, car-free courtyard. From Monday through Friday, parts of the courtyard are shared with a small daycare center until around 4:00 p.m.

Excellent price for a comfortable apartment in Dresden. The friendly owner Jörg lives upstairs and was always available to help us. Good location near restaurants, grocery, bakeries and tram/bus stops. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Dresden.

We had a wonderful stay in this little apartment. It had everything we needed and was very close to public transit. The owner was friendly and gave us excellent instructions for catching the S-bahn into downtown Dresden. I highly recommend.

My family (3 adults and 1 teenager) stayed in this beautiful, bright apartment in Dresden for 3 nights. I wish we would have had the time to stay longer as Dresden has so much to offer for attractions, restaurants, and shopping.
The unit was clean, cozy, in a convenient location near transit routes to downtown, a 5 minute walk to the Elbepark shopping centre, Ikea, and Kaufland grocery store. The owners were friendly (we were having trouble using the DVD player and Jörg took his time to help us figure it out), and the area was very quiet and felt very safe.
We only had a couple very small problems during our stay. 1) The bathroom door was not overly private. A glass door with a film covering the majority of it- but the bottom was clear glass. If the film covered the entire door, it would still let in light and give more privacy. We just closed the door in the kitchen for more privacy. 2) Wireless internet cut out for us on the day we were leaving - causing a little panic as we needed to make plans for the next part of our trip. Luckily we were able to find another open wifi connection to finish up our planning.
We can't wait to get back to Dresden again, next time hopefully staying much longer than 3 nights. Don't miss checking out Alaunstraße and the surrounding streets - this beautiful graffiti and art covered area with tonnes of restaurants and shops was the favorite part of our trip to Dresden.
When we have a chance to go back to Dresden, we would definitely stay in this apartment again. :)
