The apartment has potential, but should not be rented in its current state due to mold.

The apartment itself is tastefully decorated and the owner is nice and answered promptly. I can't really grade it since its non-habitable. We did have a late check-out on the last day because of a late flight, which was appreciated. The veiws are very nice from the balcony.

I wish that someone would have made this reveiw before, to save us the time, money, effort and heart-ache. I have lived long-term on Guadeloupe before, so this is not only a tourist perspective. This place shouldn't be rented as there is a big mold problem and is thus a health-hazard. French law strictly prohibits the renting of such homes according to the principles of "logement décent". I had a severe cough the entire stay. Upon returning to our home, all of our belongings reak of mold. The bed is very small, approx. 140x180cm, so not a standard double bed. The sofa bed needs be replaced as it has large stains. The shower was dirty so we had to clean it ourselves. Also, Guadeloupe has a water shortage problem that has worsened over the years. This time was particularly bad as we did not have access to water for three days (two days in a row at the most). Landlord has two 18l jugs of water on the balcony, but it had been sitting there for a while so it had some green stuff in it. Beware that this residence has the wrong adress on booking.com, the actual adress is further up the street. Entrance is one floor beneath street level (which prob. aggravates the mold problem). The residence is not gated, and the apartment does not have a securized door but two small locks and a slim door.

La cuisine dispose des produits de premières nécessités et le ce qu'il faut pour un 1er petit déjeuner ce qui rend bien service quand on arrive le dimanche et que tous les magasins sont fermés. Bonne literie. Un parking derrière la résidence où l'on peut garer son véhicule sans problème ce qui est réellement un plus. Conclusion, nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet appartement fonctionnel où rien ne manquait et où nous avons pu nous reposer le soir après nos journées de visites.

Appartement moderne, spacieux et lumineux avec accès terrasse très appréciable ou l'on peut prendre ses repas avec vue sur la mer! La cuisine dispose des produits de premières nécessités et le ce qu'il faut pour un 1er petit déjeuner ce qui rend bien service quand on arrive le dimanche et que tous les magasins sont fermés. Bonne literie. Un parking derrière la résidence où l'on peut garer son véhicule sans problème ce qui est réellement un plus.
