OK but could be better

We stayed for just over a week at Griffolet, so we were among their longest staying guests – most seem to stay for only 1 or 2 nights. Accommodation not expensive, so don’t expect 4 or 5 star accommodation : you get what you pay for ! The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Modern shared kitchen and shared pool. Tapas and Pizzeria Restaurant at the property was excellent value for money. Friendly, attentive and hard-working hosts (Aurélie never seems to stop !!!)

We felt the room was missing a few basic fixtures and fittings (bed-side lighting, chair, hanging space) and there was a lack of crockery and cutlery in the kitchen. We had a couple of instances of theft of food from our shelves in the shared kitchen / fridge. Wi-Fi signal not strong enough to stream (e.g. Netflix) Shared one toilet with 3 or 4 other rooms so very busy in the mornings especially. Also, while some rooms have an ensuite shower, Chambre 3 only has a shared bathroom with shower over. And no shower screen or curtain so water splashes on the floor were unavoidable. The property was generally untidy.

Functional, great Pizza restaurant below, La Callu.

It was 28 e, even cheaper than than the. F1 opposite it..Really good pizza restaurant is part of the building. 11 euros, small beer 3.50, so very good value. Close to the road network. Functional place. Good for 1night. Goats, a pig, some ducks in the field next to it, so nice for little kids. InterMarche supermarket 5 mins away in a car, don't try to walk.

It was a little noisy, but then around 9pm it went silent. There is nothing to see nearby. Also, the address leads you to the F1 in Google Maps. I was driving round for 30 mins. until they sent me the name of the Restaurant and I realised it was 50 metres from the F1. Put in Restaurant La Callu, Ussac (it seems outside Ussac), but this will take you right there. They need to put it in their address info.

La chambre était très confortable et la douche privée un véritable plus ainsi que la literie.

Avoir des wc privés car l’utilisation en pleine nuit n’est pas évidente pour ne pas gêné les autres clients…
